Deck overview

Winota, Joiner of Forces is a Boros stax-aggro deck that uses zero- and one-mana non-Human attackers to repeatedly flip into high-impact Humans. The primary path is aggressive: attack with Rograkh, Ornithopter, Gingerbrute, Signal Pest, and animated lands, let Winota find Thalia, Blade Historian, Myrel, or recruiter tools, and close with double-strike damage. Stax pieces (Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, Spirit of the Labyrinth) slow opponents into the kill. A secondary, hidden commander is Rionya, Fire Dancer; together with Combat Celebrant and a single instant/sorcery, she creates infinite combat steps. Protection like Grand Abolisher, Selfless Spirit, and Flare of Fortitude lets the deck survive interaction.
