kudo. king among all by maxxbrown

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears turns every creature on the battlefield into a 2/2 Bear, and this deck is built to exploit that floor rather than fight it. It layers anthem effects-Glorious Anthem, Beorn the Fierce, Thunderfoot Baloth-and +1/+1 counters so its own team quickly outgrows opponents, while Bear enablers like Ayula, Queen Among Bears and choose-Bear permanents give incremental value. The deck's real spike is Kudo plus Elesh Norn, which destroys opposing creatures as 0/0s while leaving your Bears huge. There is no true hidden commander; Ayula acts as a secondary lord. The primary path is a go-wide combat kill, with a secondary counters/card-draw plan for long games.
