Commander: Sokrates, Athenian Teacher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius group hug and control deck uses Sokrates, Athenian Teacher to prevent combat damage and force massive card draw for both combatants. The primary plan establishes pillow fort defenses while feeding every player cards using symmetric draw engines and Sokrates. As opponents hold massive hands, the deck turns their resources into lethal damage with hand-size punishers like Iron Maiden, Black Vise, Viseling, Ebony Owl Netsuke, and Scrawling Crawler. Alternatively, the deck can burn the entire table simultaneously with Psychosis Crawler or mill opponents out with Folio of Fancies, protected by counterspells and untap engines.
