Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Naya midrange strategy centered on Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph turns non-token artifacts into lands and earthbends them into hasty 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters that return to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or face exile. The deck uses low-cost mana dorks and rocks on Turns 1-2 to deploy Toph by Turn 4. From there, earthbend triggers synergize with powerful landfall payoffs such as Scute Swarm, Felidar Retreat, Tireless Provisioner, and Omnath, Locus of Rage. Because earthbent artifacts and lands bounce back upon death, board wipes actually ramp the deck rather than halting its momentum. Combat pressure peaks around Turn 6 with trampling, double-striking land armies and overruns like Craterhoof Behemoth or Toph, Greatest Earthbender, systematically overwhelming opponents by Turn 8.
