Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Equipment archetype commanded by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The strategy curves low-cost Equipment and efficient creatures in the early turns, drastically reducing Nahiri's casting cost via Affinity. Once in play, Nahiri turns every equipped attacker into impulse card advantage, casting revealed Equipment spells entirely for free. The deck circumvents high equip costs using dedicated enablers like Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to immediately attach massive weapons like Colossus Hammer and Kaldra Compleat. Combat multipliers including Hexplate Wallbreaker, Genji Glove, and Aurelia, the Warleader generate multiple combat steps per turn, allowing rapid table-wide eliminations. High-grade phasing protection such as Clever Concealment and Guardian of Faith preserves the entire board against wipes, while standalone card draw engines maintain velocity if Nahiri is removed.
