Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Helga, Skittish Seer as a dual-purpose card engine and explosive mana dork, rewarding the player for casting creatures with mana value 4 or greater. Supported by an efficient suite of 1–2 CMC ramp cards including Sol Ring, Avacyn's Pilgrim, and Arcane Signet, the deck curves smoothly into Helga on Turn 3 and immediately begins triggering her draw and counter abilities on Turn 4. As Helga accumulates +1/+1 counters, her tap ability accelerates the deployment of high-impact threats such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Rampaging Baloths, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Hornet Queen. The game is closed through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging trample and power buffs from Craterhoof Behemoth, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and Garruk's Uprising, or token duplication via a kicked Rite of Replication. While vulnerable to mass board wipes and lacking dedicated creature tutors, the deck boasts high functional redundancy and resilient recovery.
