Straight Jin by GreatGandalf

Format: Commander

Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Simic lands-matter value deck helmed by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The plan is straightforward: ramp aggressively into a critical mass of lands, cast Aesi, then convert every land drop into card advantage while flooding the board with landfall tokens and oversized threats. Extra land drops from Aesi (and support like Prismatic Undercurrents) plus engines such as Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Scute Swarm, and Rampaging Baloths create exponential board presence. There are no infinite combos; wins come through combat-Hydra Omnivore spreading damage table-wide, Koma, World-Eater flooding Serpent tokens, or a critical mass of Beasts and Insects. A dense counterspell suite and pillowfort (Propaganda) buy the time needed to assemble the engine, while Seedborn Muse and Wilderness Reclamation turn excess lands into multi-turn mana dominance.
