Deck overview

This deck is a Boros midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. It converts graveyard movements into a formidable board of 3/2 Spirit tokens. The deck uses looting, rummaging, and exile-from-graveyard mechanics—such as escape, flashback, and reanimation—to consistently trigger token generation. Discard outlets like Containment Construct, Conspiracy Theorist, and Inti, Seneschal of the Sun turn the commander's +1 card filtering into sheer card advantage. Once a wide token presence is established, Quintorius, History Chaser uses its −4 loyalty ability to grant Spirits double strike and vigilance, presenting overwhelming combat damage. High-impact finishers such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Terror of the Peaks ensure swift closes. Supported by efficient white removal, repeatable recursion engines, and protection spells like Boros Charm and Selfless Spirit, the deck maintains pressure and recovers rapidly from disruption.
