New Untitled Deck by cdags04

Format: Commander

Commander: Phenax, God of Deception

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Phenax, God of Deception leads a Dimir mill deck that wins by emptying three libraries. The primary plan is to land Phenax, double the mill with Bruvac the Grandiloquent, and tap high-toughness creatures such as Charix, the Raging Isle and Tree of Perdition. Secondary paths are two-card combos: Bruvac plus kicked Maddening Cacophony, Grindstone plus Painter's Servant, and Doomsday Excruciator plus Fractured Sanity. Phenax also enables an Eater of the Dead loop that can mill entire libraries in one turn. Bruvac is effectively a hidden commander because so many lines depend on his replacement effect. Counterspells and tutors hold the deck together while it assembles a kill.
