Clerics MonoB wip by Marcospam

Format: Commander

Commander: Braids, Arisen Nightmare

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-black Shadowborn Apostle sacrifice/tutor deck. The primary plan is to flood the board with 1/1 Clerics, use Thrumming Stone to ripple into extra copies, and sacrifice six Apostles to put Demons directly into play, usually Razaketh. Braids, Arisen Nightmare is a value engine: end-step sacrificing a permanent drains opponents and draws cards, while Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and The Meathook Massacre turn each death into board control. Razaketh converts extra creatures into a search engine for Liliana's Contract and more Demons. Entomb + Reanimate and the two Ormendahl transforms are the backup plans. The hidden 'commander' is the Apostle-tutor/demon package rather than Braids herself.
