Commander Mustard - Soldier Synergy by MrMattyMoses

Format: Commander

Commander: Commander Mustard

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Soldiers tribal aggro build helmed by Commander Mustard. The primary game plan is to flood the board with Soldier tokens and lords, leveraging anthems like Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and multiple +1/+1 anthem creatures to turn a wide board into lethal combat damage. Commander Mustard himself provides vigilance, trample, and haste to all Soldiers, and his activated ability adds a persistent ping on attack, chipping away at opponents while the army grows. The deck wins through overwhelming combat, with secondary reach through Aurelia, the Law Above's drain and Idol of Oblivion's giant token. It has no infinite combos and relies on incremental value and board presence.
