Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Assassin typal combat aggro-midrange build commanded by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The strategy uses Ezio's early menace attacks to unlock freerunning, cheating high-cost Assassins and draw spells into play for only {B}{B}. The deck accelerates player elimination by utilizing life-halving threats like Virtus the Veiled, Unstoppable Slasher, and Quietus Spike to quickly drop an opponent's life total to 10 or less. Once an opponent reaches this threshold, Ezio pays {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} on combat connection to eliminate them instantly, or triggers Ramses, Assassin Lord for a direct table win. While the deck generates strong combat-driven card advantage and creature attrition through cards like Grave Pact and Mari, the Killing Quill, its heavy reliance on unblocked combat damage and a low count of defensive protection spells make it vulnerable to board wipes and instant-speed interaction.
