Deck overview

This deck uses Giada, Font of Hope to accelerate Angel spells and make every later Angel larger. Its normal plan is to cast Giada early, develop a board of flying creatures, and convert lifegain, +1/+1 counters, and tribal anthems into a large combat force. Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, Always Watching, Thraben Watcher, and Vanquisher's Banner are the main scaling payoffs. The deck has useful removal, sweepers, graveyard hate, and some protection, but it does not have a compact combo or reliable haste-based kill. Its first decisive board normally appears around turn 6, with a full table finish around turn 9 if opponents do not disrupt it. The main weaknesses are dependence on creatures, limited card selection, heavy white mana requirements, and a lack of stack interaction. Sephara, Sky's Blade and Herald of Eternal Dawn can improve resilience, but both are expensive and do not solve every form of disruption.
