Deck overview

This Zur the Enchanter deck is a competitive Esper combo list designed to win rapidly using the Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact combination. Zur serves as an accessible engine in the command zone, able to tutor high-impact enchantments such as Necropotence, Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Out of Time directly to the battlefield. The deck is powered by top-tier fast mana, including Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual, alongside a comprehensive suite of universal tutors. Defensive pieces such as Silence, Grand Abolisher, Voice of Victory, and Ranger-Captain of Eos establish protected windows for combo execution. Supported by free interaction like Force of Will and asymmetric disruption from Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters, the deck can either race to an early Turn 2-3 victory or play a commanding control game before executing a protected finish.
