Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is a dedicated Cat tribal aggro strategy helmed by Arahbo, Roar of the World with Kaheera, the Orphanguard as companion. The game plan leverages Arahbo's Eminence ability from the command zone to turn inexpensive Cats into massive early attackers without spending mana. By deploying aggressive low-cost threats like Adorned Pouncer, Lost Leonin, and Skyhunter Skirmisher, the deck rapidly pressures life totals on Turn 3. On Turn 4, it leverages Arahbo's paid power-doubling trigger or snowballing threats like Sovereign Okinec Ahau to threaten single-hit knockouts. As the game develops, token producers like Leonin Warleader and Brimaz, King of Oreskos build a wide army that closes out the rest of the table through overrun effects. The list is reinforced by high-grade defensive spells such as Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention, while Aura Shards keeps opposing artifact and enchantment engines under continuous control.
