Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color political forced-combat deck led by Karona, False God. The primary strategy focuses on ramping quickly into 5 colors, establishing a defensive pillowfort, and passing lethal beaters around the table to force opponents to eliminate each other. Karona, False God provides a massive scaling threat with innate haste that buffs creature types during combat, while secondary threats like Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos and Slicer, Hired Muscle accelerate the damage clock from early turns. Cards such as Assault Suit, Ghostly Prison, and Orzhov Advokist ensure that redirected attacks cannot target you. Card advantage engines like Breena, the Demagogue, Edric, Spymaster of Trest, and Jon Irenicus, Shattered One reward opponents for fighting among themselves while keeping your hand full. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming, cumulative combat damage.
