Tergrid: Redux by user5908320

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tergrid, God of Fright headlines a punishing mono-black resource denial strategy focused on stripping opposing hands and clearing boards. The deck uses the creature side of the commander to steal every nontoken permanent that opponents discard or sacrifice. Fast mana and premium tutors accelerate Tergrid into play ahead of schedule, setting up devastating mass discard spells like Dark Deal and Memory Jar, or symmetric sacrifice wipes like Death Cloud and Smallpox. Once Tergrid converts opposing resources into a massive board presence under your control, the deck locks down the table with Contamination or beats opponents down with stolen creatures and Zombie tokens generated from Waste Not.
