Commander: Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Shang-Chi is a green activated-ability mana battery, but the deck's hidden engine in the 99 is Omnath, Locus of Mana, which banks green mana across phases. The primary plan ramps mana dorks, multiplies taps with Badgermole Cub and Seedborn Muse, then uses Tyvar, the Pummeler or Ezuri, Renegade Leader to pump the team past 120 damage for a one-turn kill. Secondary paths are Umbral Mantle plus a 4-power dork into Walking Ballista, Helix Pinnacle, or Triumph of the Hordes infect. Shang-Chi mainly pays for creature activation costs and lets the deck activate abilities despite summoning sickness; the deck does not depend on him.
