Format: Commander

Commander: Aegar, the Freezing Flame

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive tribal control strategy led by Aegar, the Freezing Flame. Aegar turns excess burn damage dealt by your Giants and damage spells into raw card draw, keeping your hand full while clearing opposing boards. In the early game, you establish mana rocks and deploy Aegar to set up draw triggers. You then cast midgame Giants to sweep small blockers and generate substantial card advantage. Finally, you transition into overwhelming combat damage, leveraging damage multipliers such as Calamity Bearer, Fiery Emancipation, and Collective Inferno to trample through remaining opponents with massive creatures.
