One Small Step for Lobster by user1155858

Commander: Ragost, Deft Gastronaut

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Boros artifact/Food sacrifice deck built almost entirely around Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. Because Ragost makes every artifact you control a Food, nearly the whole 99 can be converted into fuel for his {1}, {T}, sacrifice-a-Food ability, which deals 3 damage to each opponent. The main plan is to generate a critical mass of artifact tokens - Academy Manufactor turns every Clue, Food, and Treasure into one of each, while Brass's Bounty, Prized Statue, Apothecary White, and Bag End Banquet provide the bursts - then multiply activations with Drumbellower, Magewright's Stone, and War Flare. Incidental burn from Reckless Fireweaver, Weapons Manufacturing, and Sentinel Sarah Lyons accelerates the clock, and Osgir, the Reconstructor plus mass recursion via Open the Vaults and Wake the Past rebuild the engine after wipes. There is no infinite combo in the deck; victory comes from grinding out repeated 3-damage activations and combat beats. Ragost is cheap to cast and recast, but he remains the deck's primary finisher.
