Deck overview

This deck is a five-color spellslinger engine built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and the Prepare mechanic. The primary strategy deploys low-cost creatures that enter prepared, allowing you to cast copies of their attached spells. Codie duplicates every prepared spell you cast, turning cheap spells into decisive two-for-one advantages. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing through creatures like Birds of Paradise, Heartwood Crafter, and Faeburrow Elder. Once Codie is deployed alongside magecraft and token engines like Archmage Emeritus, Kykar, Wind's Fury, Young Pyromancer, and Storm-Kiln Artist, the deck rapidly draws through its library and generates immense mana bursts with Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song. The win condition leverages wide swarms of creature tokens buffed by Magmablood Archaic or a copied, lethal Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. While the deck possesses explosive card draw and recovery, it remains vulnerable to sweepers due to limited defensive countermagic.
