Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Polymorph control strategy built around Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list contains zero low-mana creature cards, running exclusively game-warping high-cost creatures and planeswalkers as its payoffs. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with two-mana rocks and generating sacrificial token creatures through cheap noncreature permanents like Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller. On turn 4, casting Jace allows an immediate activation of his minus-three ability to exile a token and cheat a bomb directly onto the battlefield. The creature suite includes oppressive threats such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Hullbreaker Horror, and Archon of Cruelty, which simultaneously restrict opposing resources and establish a lethal clock. Backup cheat effects like Polymorph, Transmogrify, and Mass Polymorph ensure redundancy. Supported by a robust suite of efficient removal and board wipes, the deck controls the tempo of the game before closing out the table through overwhelming combat damage.
