Zombies V3 by user7696526

Format: Commander

Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen helms an Esper Zombie attrition deck that turns combat into card advantage: every Zombie hit lets you loot, gain life, and exile fuel to create more Zombies. The primary plan is a critical-mass Zombie swarm backed by lords, token makers, and drain effects. A secondary path uses Gravecrawler plus Phyrexian Altar with Corpse Knight, Wayward Servant, or Plague Belcher to loop infinitely. A planeswalker package, led by several Lilianas with Oath of Teferi and The Chain Veil, provides grind and board control. The Scarab God and Mikaeus act as hidden backup engines. Wins come from combat, ETB/death drains, Shepherd of Rot activations, or a large Torment of Hailfire.
