Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange strategy commander deck led by Magus Lucea Kane. It focuses on casting scalable X-cost Tyranid creatures, copying them with the commander's activated ability, and overwhelming opponents with massive +1/+1 counters and combat damage. The deck accelerates mana in the early turns, establishes its commander by turn 3, and begins duplicating huge threats on turn 4. The Ravenous mechanic provides sustained card draw by drawing cards whenever an X-spell creature enters with five or more counters. Support cards like Temur Ascendancy and Winged Hive Tyrant grant haste and evasion, allowing the massive creature tokens to close games quickly. While the deck possesses strong card draw and explosive creature stats, it relies heavily on the combat phase and is vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and targeted removal directed at its commander before the engine gets moving.
