Deck overview

This is a general-power five-color Ramos, Dragon Engine deck built around multicolored spells, +1/+1 counters, and large combat creatures. Ramos, Dragon Engine is the central resource engine: after enough colored spells, its counters convert into ten mana, which can fund more multicolored spells and expensive legends. The deck has excellent color access and many flexible charms, but its acceleration is modest for a six-mana commander. Its selection is also weak, so assembling Ramos, Dragon Engine, enough lands, several multicolored spells, and a payoff is inconsistent. The strongest supporting engines are Whirlwind of Thought, Temur Ascendancy, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis, and Omnath, Locus of All. Combat payoffs such as Saskia the Unyielding and Tifa, Martial Artist can create explosive turns, but they do not provide a reliable same-turn table kill. The deck is vulnerable to early disruption and prolonged games without a repeatable draw or denial engine.
