Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses Teval, the Balanced Scale to transform the graveyard into an expansive second hand and board presence. The deck accelerates in early turns using efficient mana dorks, land-fetch sorceries, and targeted self-mill spells. Casting Teval on Turn 3 establishes a compounding engine: each attack mills cards and ramps lands, repeatedly generating 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens as cards leave the graveyard. The mid-game leverages powerful recursion engines such as Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Six, and Life from the Loam to maintain immense resource superiority. The primary win condition tutors or mills Lord of Extinction alongside Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, using reanimation spells like Victimize to assemble both on Turn 5 and immediately sacrifice Lord of Extinction to drain all three opponents for 40+ life simultaneously. Backed by free removal spells and targeted protection like Heroic Intervention, the deck applies rapid pressure while recovering effortlessly from board wipes.
