Deck overview

This deck uses Kaalia of the Vast to bypass the heavy casting costs of high-impact Angels, Demons, and Dragons. By deploying two-mana acceleration on Turn 2, the deck reliably casts Kaalia on Turn 3. On Turn 4, Kaalia attacks and puts an evasive threat onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck pairs raw flying combat power with disruptive lock pieces like Angelic Arbiter and Drana and Linvala to stall opposing development. Damage doublers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Twinflame Tyrant, and Archfiend of Despair accelerate the damage clock, allowing the deck to close out the game across all three opponents by Turn 6.
