Thranduil by Dogmom231

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is the graveyard-activated-ability hub: with the right Elves in the graveyard he can produce mana, make tokens, and even activate Lathril's life-loss. The primary plan is to ramp into Thranduil, self-mill Elf cards, then use his legendary-Elf enters trigger to draw while building a wide Elf board. Secondary paths are Maralen's free cast from exile and Morcant's Eyes / Izoni mass-token payoffs; Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally acts as a hidden second commander and landfall token engine. The deck is not a compact combo deck; it wins by attacking for lethal with pumped Elves, often after Lathril's life-loss cuts each opponent to 30.
