Format: Commander

Commander: Killian, Decisive Mentor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Killian, Decisive Mentor leads an Orzhov Aura and enchantment strategy that controls the flow of combat while drawing cards. Casting enchantments lets Killian tap and goad opposing threats, clearing attack lanes and forcing opponents to batter each other. Meanwhile, you assemble a massive attacker using stacking buffs like Ethereal Armor, Sage's Reverie, and Eldrazi Conscription, or generate an evasive army with Archon of Sun's Grace. Stax pieces like Ghostly Prison, Nils, Discipline Enforcer, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple prevent retaliatory swings. You finish the table through overwhelming Voltron commander damage, lethal Pegasus strikes, or steady life drain.
