Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green stompy strategy centered on casting Ghalta, Primal Hunger ahead of curve. The game plan accelerates mana on Turn 1 with efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise, followed by undercosted, high-power creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. These dense power sources reduce Ghalta's casting cost to a minimal two green mana by Turn 4. Once Ghalta enters the battlefield, the deck converts its massive board presence into card advantage using power-matters engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage, amplified by trample enablers and finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and lacking stack interaction, the deck demonstrates high functional redundancy and swift recovery, easily rebuilding massive board power to overwhelm the table.
