Deck overview

Helmed by Emry, Lurker of the Loch, this is a mono-blue graveyard-artifact combo/value deck. Emry's affinity discount gets her into play cheaply, her ETB mills four to stock the graveyard, and her tap ability turns that graveyard into a second hand. The core engine pairs Emry with untap triggers from Mirran Spy and Chakram Retriever to re-cast zero-cost artifacts like Ornithopter or Lotus Petal endlessly, converting that loop into a win through Aetherflux Reservoir (unbounded life plus a 50-life laser), Altar of the Brood (mill all opponents), Glaring Fleshraker (ping every opponent per colorless ETB), or Blasting Station with Thopter tokens from Sai, Master Thopterist and Efficient Construction. Mystic Forge plus Encroaching Mycosynth provides top-deck advantage, and Mirrodin Besieged is a slower alternate win. Affinity beaters - Thought Monitor, Master of Etherium, Kappa Cannoneer - and Wurmcoil Engine give the deck a real combat fallback.
