Deck overview

Sefris of the Hidden Ways helms an Esper Reanimator Combo deck designed to exploit the graveyard, venture through dungeons, and execute swift, decisive combo finishes. The deck leverages an array of low-cost looters, instant-speed discard outlets, and efficient tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive to deposit powerful creatures directly into the graveyard. Reanimation engines like Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Victimize cheat heavy threats onto the battlefield as early as Turn 4. The deck primary win conditions revolve around compact, self-contained infinite loops: Mikaeus, the Unhallowed paired with Triskelion generates infinite pings to all opponents, while Reveillark and Karmic Guide combine with Altar of Dementia or Radiant Solar for infinite mill or dungeon drains. Backed by free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and recurring protection creatures, the deck can reliably defend its combo attempts, recover rapidly from board wipes, and win without relying strictly on its commander.
