Combat cat stax by CrashTheory

Format: Commander

Commander: Marisi, Breaker of the Coil

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marisi is the tip of a Naya aura/go-wide goad plan. The primary path is to suit an evasive attacker (often Marisi) with pump auras, use his combat lock to connect safely, and goad the table into fighting itself while Sphere of Safety and Angel's Trumpet tax stray attacks. Secondary paths are enchantress card draw plus aura recursion from Mazzy, Retether, and Mantle of the Ancients to out-last wipes, and token generation from Sigil of the Empty Throne and Hallowed Haunting. Marisi himself supplies the goad trigger and combat-phase spell lock; the rest of the deck is a pillow-fort value shell with redundant goad enablers.
