Gix in Six by Geebs

Format: Commander

Commander: Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck uses Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor as a continuous card advantage engine powered by low-cost, evasive creatures like Changeling Outcast and Dauthi Voidwalker. By connecting early and often, the deck refills its hand rapidly to dig into its redundant two-card infinite life drain combos. Primary win conditions center on pairing life-gain triggers with life-loss payoffs, combining Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Enduring Tenacity. Secondary win paths include drawing into massive bursts with Peer into the Abyss alongside Psychosis Crawler or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and generating massive mana through Cabal Coffers.
