Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Izzet Storm and Turbo Breach list piloted by Ral, Monsoon Mage. Ral functions as a cheap, 2-mana cost reducer in the command zone that flips into Ral, Leyline Prodigy to generate loyalty, draw cards, or cast free spells. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana on Turns 1 and 2 using fast mana rocks and rituals, then resolving Underworld Breach on Turn 3. With Underworld Breach, the deck escapes Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond or Lotus Petal to self-mill its entire library and generate immense mana and storm count. The loop concludes by milling all opponents or looping Lightning Bolt to kill the table in a single turn. The deck is shielded by premier free interaction, including Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation, and Hexing Squelcher, making its combo turn highly protected and explosive.
