Captain America One Hit Wonder [4] - [Detailed Primer] up to date by Giangoccetto

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, First Avenger

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Captain America is a Jeskai Equipment-voltron deck built to make the First Avenger enormous, then either smash for commander damage or use Throw to convert attached Equipment mana values into direct damage. The primary plan is to tutor and auto-attach high-impact Equipment (Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, Sword of Feast and Famine) to Captain, with Catch returning one piece each combat. The secondary plan is an infinite combat engine with Aggravated Assault, Sword of Feast and Famine, and The Reaver Cleaver. Damage enablers like Chandra's Ignition and Kediss turn one big hit into a table kill. No hidden commander exists; Bruenor, Puresteel Paladin, and Sigarda's Aid are key support, not alternate commanders.
