Deck overview

This deck is a Boros lifegain midrange and Angel tribal strategy led by Bre of Clan Stoutarm. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost lifegain enablers like Soul Warden, Bishop of Wings, and Guide of Souls during the early turns. Casting Bre on Turn 4 turns these regular lifegain triggers into card advantage and free spells at each end step. During the mid-game, the deck deploys evasive Angel threats buffed by powerful static anthems, notably Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, and Lyra, Archangel of Dawn. By Turn 6, the board reaches critical mass, utilizing combat multipliers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Aurelia, the Warleader to eliminate opponents over two turn rotations, closing the game on Turn 8. Running 41 lands supports a steady on-curve game plan without mana rocks, while Serra Paragon, Angel of Indemnity, and Boros Charm provide resilience against board wipes.
