Teval 1.0 by BLT25

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai self-mill / graveyard-reanimation value deck helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The plan is to fill the graveyard as fast as possible, treat the yard as a second hand, and convert every "leaves your graveyard" event into Zombie Druid tokens, card draw, treasure, and mana through Teval, the Balanced Scale, Teval's Judgment, Insidious Roots, and Kishla Skimmer. Teval herself mills three and puts a land from the graveyard onto the battlefield tapped on every attack, which doubles as both ramp and more fuel. The deck contains no infinite combos; its finishing lines are sacrificing a giant Lord of Extinction or Consuming Aberration to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord for a table-wide drain, or reanimating Craterhoof Behemoth to trample over with an army of tokens. A deep recursion package of Living Death, Victimize, Reanimate, Dread Return, Kotis, Sibsig Champion, Cauldron of Essence, and Phyrexian Reclamation keeps the engine grinding.
