Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Grixis turbo-combo build helmed by Kefka, Court Mage. While Kefka provides a potent card-advantage and asymmetric hand-attrition engine in the command zone, the deck's primary operational focus is executing fast, compact win conditions. Its premier win route is the format-defining pairing of Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, supported by an alternative finish through Doctor Doom, Unrivaled. A rich package of 0-to-1-mana acceleration—including Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual—enables the deck to assemble and attempt game-winning lines by Turn 2 or 3. It protects its proactive attempts with efficient stack interaction such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and red/blue elemental blasts, while leveraging Hexing Squelcher and Conqueror's Flail to silence opposing responses. Secondary lines utilize Tidespout Tyrant and Displacer Kitten for infinite mana and board control, ensuring high adaptability across competitive pods.
