Charmed Apple B2 by user1088697

Format: Commander

Commander: Eriette of the Charmed Apple

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura-control build helmed by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. It aims to lock down combat with Ghostly Prison, goad effects, and Eriette's own attack tax, while generating value from a dense enchantress package. The primary win is incremental: Eriette's end-step trigger drains each opponent for every Aura you control, with Sigil of the Empty Throne angels and a heavily Aura-buffed Eriette of the Charmed Apple providing the combat finish. Removal Auras like Darksteel Mutation, Minimus Containment, Reprobation, and Petrify neutralize problem permanents, and Curses like Overwhelming Splendor and Curse of Exhaustion both lock the board and increase the drain count. Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice acts as a de facto hidden commander, chaining Auras and accelerating the engine. It is a grindy, multi-turn control deck rather than a fast combo deck.
