Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Neriv, Heart of the Storm as a powerful damage amplifier, doubling all damage dealt by creatures that entered the battlefield during the current turn. The list combines low-cost artifact acceleration with cheat enablers like Sneak Attack, Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded, and reanimation spells to deploy massive threats ahead of curve. Once Neriv is on the board, token cloners such as Calamity, Galloping Inferno, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink generate hasty copies that swing for lethal amounts of doubled combat damage. Complementing this plan are extra-combat engines like Bloodthirster, Port Razer, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, alongside direct-damage punishment from Terror of the Peaks. Supported by efficient single-target removal, board wipes, and preemptive protection like Silence and Flawless Maneuver, the deck delivers explosive, compressed kill turns that quickly close out games.
