Deck overview

This is a Gruul Wolf/Werewolf tribal midrange deck helmed by Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge. The plan is to flood the board with Wolves and Human Werewolves, flip to night so the pack transforms, then connect in combat to draw cards off Tovolar while lords and anthems push lethal damage. Token makers, transform payoffs, and two extra-combat spells (Relentless Assault, Fury of the Horde) supply the closing power. There are no infinite combos; wins come from go-wide combat, pump overlays, and occasional burn from Runebound Wolf or Ill-Tempered Loner // Howlpack Avenger. Tovolar is the primary card-advantage engine and night enabler, but the tribal bodies and token engines still function without him. The curve is modest (AMV 3.32) with light dork ramp and a basic-heavy mana base, producing a classic casual tribal combat clock.
