Vampires by shado

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal deck helmed by Edgar Markov, built around his Eminence ability generating a free 1/1 Vampire token for every Vampire spell cast - even while he sits in the command zone. The deck pairs a go-wide token army with a dense lord package (Stromkirk Captain, Legion Lieutenant, Captivating Vampire, Markov Baron) and a lifegain/drain subtheme that can close games through combat or an infinite life-drain loop. The primary win is a wide, pumped Vampire swarm backed by drain effects like Sanctum Seeker and Cruel Celebrant; the secondary, faster finish is the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond-style infinite loop, made redundant by Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Edgar's haste lets him attack the turn he's cast, immediately pumping the entire team.
