Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange deck commanded by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The game plan revolves around rapidly developing modified creatures, leveraging Tidus's Cheer ability to draw cards and proliferate each turn, and scaling power using multipliers like Branching Evolution and Brokers Ascendancy. Mana dorks such as Incubation Druid and Kami of Whispered Hopes grow alongside the board, generating substantial mana velocity. The deck establishes a critical threat by Turn 6, pushing lethal damage past blockers using Herald of Secret Streams, Sphere Grid, or one-sided sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye. Defensive layers such as Ghostly Prison and Propaganda buy time against fast aggressive decks, while Ripples of Potential and Inspiring Call protect established counters from opposing wipes.
