Deck overview

This deck pilots a landfall-milling reanimation strategy under Homer, the Hermit. The commander's landfall trigger mills each opponent X cards (X = twice the number of Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and Trilobites you control). The 99 is densely packed with small tribal creatures of these types, land-search ramp spells, and mass-reanimation effects. The game plan is to accelerate land drops, deploy a small tribe to increase Homer's mill, fill opponents' graveyards, then sweep the battlefield with spells like Afterlife from the Loam, Breach the Multiverse, and Sepulchral Primordial. Victory is achieved through combat with reanimated threats. The deck has no infinite combos and relies entirely on value accumulation and repeated reanimation loops.
