Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu Equipment Voltron strategy built around Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and high-impact Equipment during the opening turns, then casting Syr Gwyn on Turn 5 to bypass steep equip costs with her free equip ability for Knights. Equipping massive stat boosters like Colossus Hammer and Two-Handed Axe allows Syr Gwyn to eliminate opponents via commander damage in single attacks. The deck features strong protection in Robe of Stars, Mithril Coat, and Conqueror's Flail to shield Gwyn during combat steps. However, the list runs almost no instant-speed interaction, leaving it vulnerable to fast combo decks and artifact sweepers such as Farewell.
