Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Voltron and Aggro deck commanded by Lightning, Army of One. It maximizes combat efficiency through equipment, damage multipliers, and extra combat phases. Lightning's Stagger ability doubles all subsequent damage dealt to a player once combat damage connects, turning modest power buffs into lethal strikes. Dedicated Equipment tutors such as Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary fetch key weapons like Buster Sword, The Reaver Cleaver, and Genji Glove. Meanwhile, damage enhancers such as Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Twinflame Tyrant, and City on Fire scale single-target commander damage across the entire table. The deck defends its board with hexproof equipment, phasing effects like Clever Concealment, and instant-speed answers fetched via Sunforger.
