Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange combat strategy headed by Mr. Foxglove. It leverages pillowfort enchantments such as Ghostly Prison and Propaganda alongside goad Auras to force opponents to deplete each other's resources in combat. Meanwhile, the deck accelerates into casting its commander on Turn 4. Beginning on Turn 5, Mr. Foxglove's attack trigger generates substantial card advantage against opponents with larger grips or cheats colossal threats—such as Worldspine Wurm, Darksteel Colossus, and Triplicate Titan—directly onto the battlefield. Once large beaters are deployed, the deck leverages mass evasion and stat boosts from Moonshaker Cavalry or continuous trample to batter opponents down over consecutive combat steps. The deck thrives in battlecruiser environments where its high-toughness blockers, life gain, and attack taxes create a sturdy defensive shell while its commander deploys game-ending threats for free.
