Deck overview

The deck uses Iron Man, Titan of Innovation as a hasty artifact chain engine. Each attack converts a noncreature artifact into one with mana value one higher, allowing the deck to climb from cheap fodder into cards such as Chimil, the Inner Sun, Hellkite Tyrant, or Portal to Phyrexia. Sol Ring, artifact cost reducers, mana rocks, and Goblin Engineer help reach the five-mana commander and maintain the chain. The deck also has strong artifact support from Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Sai, Master Thopterist, Mystic Forge, Scrap Trawler, and Krark-Clan Ironworks. Its main weakness is that the chain takes several turns, searched artifacts enter tapped, and no compact win condition follows automatically. Interaction and protection are present but compete with development. Tony Stark provides a slower backup route, while Hellkite Tyrant and Mechanized Production offer eventual alternate wins that are not ordinarily assembled on a reliable clock.
