Deck overview

This deck is a four-color cascade midrange deck led by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. The primary game plan ramps on turns 1 and 2 to cast Yidris on turn 3. On turn 4, Yidris attacks and deals combat damage using built-in trample or evasive equipment like Brotherhood Regalia and Whispersilk Cloak. In the post-combat main phase, spells cast from hand gain cascade, cheating additional nonland spells directly into play. On turn 5, heavy cascade spells such as Apex Devastator, Maelstrom Wanderer, and Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty flood the battlefield with high-power threats while triggering burn from Keeper of Secrets and Passionate Archaeologist. The deck closes the game through overwhelming combat damage across turns 6 and 7. Although reliant on combat connections with Yidris, powerful standalone cascade creatures ensure resilient backup lines.
